so there was a few days when SoulPancake TV was consuming our every waking, and should be sleeping, hour. but we’re now gradually jumping back into regular routine programming which is nice because it means i no longer have an entire drum set and thousands of dollars worth of camera equipment sprawled on my couch. although we did inherit an old blue wheelchair which we used as a camera dolly, and have seemed to have formed some sentimental attachment to. we are considering adding it as an ‘extra’ chair to our living room, but nothing says unwelcome guest like ‘hi! please take a seat in the wheelchair and just make yourself comfortable. what was that? the breaks? yeah, just pull on them if you want to stop rolling into the kitchen’.
i finally imported all my photos from our SP book tour in new york. here’s a little glimpse into the dressing room for the guests on jimmy fallon. i loved the felt wallpaper. i also loved that jonsi was in the dressing room next door and ?uestlove was just down the hall.
no city does late afternoon golden light like nyc does. one day we will live in this city. even just briefly. i know it in my core.
